The ergonomically designed and optimally balanced AirMaXX backplate is adjustable to fit all body sizes. This works in conjunction with the premium S-swing shoulder pads and swivelling hip belt to distribute weight evenly while increasing freedom of movement. Stress and fatigue are reduced as you perform your job without restrictions. The AirMaXX stays with you even when you are turned upside down.
The alpha SingleLine pneumatic system integrates warning signal, second connection and gauge in an easily accessible manifold at your shoulder. Vautex Elite S

All Vautex Elite S suits offer reliable protection against gases, vapours, solid and liquid chemicals, infective agents, low temperatures [- 60˚C] as well as radioactive
contamination. A double glove system, replaceable boots and gloves, and an integrated transponder are standard features. MSA offers various Vautex Elite S models to meet all your needs and requirements. The economic Vautex Elite S Expert model features a fully integrated lens. The head section within the Vautex Elite S GALLET model is designed for MSA GALLET helmets.

Workman Twin Leg Shock Absorbing Lanyards

Workman Fall Arrest rated shock absorbing lanyards are designed to effectively arrest the fall of an individual, whilst minimising the shock loads on the body. The ‘teartape’ shock pack utilises a controlled tearing action that is initiated during the fall and limits the fall arrest forces to below 6kN. The shock pack features a clear, heat shrink casing and is designed to allow a more user-friendly visual inspection.

Lynx Tripod

MSA confined space entry/retrieval systems are designed for fall arrest, lifting and lowering, rescue, and work positioning applications. They incorporate an anchorage connector, fall arrest component (Dyna-Lock, Dynevac II, Lynx Rescuer), a personnel and materials handling hoist (Lynx Hoist) and associated hardware to rig the system for use. The systems can be used for leading edge work, maintenance and entry/retrieval from manholes, tank cars, silos, tanks, vaults, pits, vats and other confined space applications.

F1 Helmet MSA GALLET

Based on the original F1 helmet, the F1 is especially designed for Structural Firefighting for firefighters worldwide. The F1 features built-in interfaces on both sides to become a flexible head protection platform for different types of accessories. Its mask adapter KitFix can be easily adjusted for perfect mask attachment and optimal wearing comfort. What’s more, the F1 is designed with a ratchet cradle [quick adjustment on the head] and a new 3-point fireproof, adjustable chinstrap providing increased comfort and stability. The F1 is available in a variety of helmet and front plate colours.

MSA History

The MSA Story began almost 91 years ago when a young rescue engineer, John Thomas Ryan, haunted with the memory of dozens of mine disaster, share his concern with another Bureau of mines engineer George Herman Deike, who also wanted to fight the tragedies underground. On June 14, 1941, Ryan and Deike watched a small sign go up doorway in a downtown Pittsburgh office building, it read "Mine Safety Appliances Company". From that one-room office and basement store, the partners began their crusade for safety.
